Abstract
Impact assessment of pest management technology adoption among maize producers to measure behavioral change and yield improvements.
The Challenge:
IFPRI required follow-up impact assessment of IPM technology adoption among maize producers to measure behavioral change and yield improvements post-intervention.
The Solution:
HDS mobilized experienced field teams fluent in local languages, conducted comprehensive enumerator training with practical exercises, and implemented rigorous quality assurance protocols including daily data validation and random back-checks. Our team successfully tracked baseline households and collected high-frequency agricultural data with GPS-verified plot measurements.
Key Outcomes
Achieved 98% household re-contact rate with zero major data discrepancies, providing IFPRI with publication-ready datasets that informed regional agricultural technology scaling strategies.
